SURGISPON®

SURGISPON® Absorbable Hemostatic Gelatin Sponge is a quick and effective hemostatic agent that stops bleeding fast. It reduces intraoperative bleeding and surgery time. SURGISPON® is non-toxic, non-allergenic, non-immunogenic, and non-pyrogenic. It is already gamma-sterilized, so there is no need for resterilization. It comes in a convenient, ready-to-tear sterile blister/envelope. Unlike many hemostatic agents, SURGISPON® does not require special storage conditions. The uniform porosity of SURGISPON® guarantees favorable hemostasis, and when implanted in vivo, it is completely absorbed within 3-4 weeks, leaving no residue or encapsulation.
